Facilities Assistant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for someone with practical maintenance skills and experience in Facilities and Estates to join a dedicated team of Facilities Assistants at Oasis Restore, the first secure school in England. Oasis Restore represents a revolution in youth justice: an opportunity for children within the criminal justice system to experience a restorative environment that creates the potential for them to thrive in the future. We have dual registered as a 16-19 Academy and Secure Children’s Home.


Senior Social Worker (Restore Networker)

Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Your role as a LSA will be integral to supporting the progress of all children at Oasis Restore, to help them to achieve their individual educational outcomes. We are looking to LSAs who are willing to work towards the HLTA qualification. You will be responsible for supporting with the delivery of a bespoke, skills-based curriculum; and working with individual children and small groups within the classroom to facilitate a personalised and aspirational education for all. You will work as part of an education team within departments and contribute to the regular assessment of the children you are working with as well as forming part of a core team around the child and feeding into formulation meetings to report on progress and next steps.


Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Job Purpose - To support with the delivery of outstanding teaching to students that is bespoke to their individual needs and promotes a love of discovery and learning. To carry out the professional duties of a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant, HLTA, in accordance with the nationally recognised HLTA standards as well as the duties and expectations outlined in this JD and Oasis Restore draft policies, including our Code of Conduct. To contribute, under the direction of the Head of Departments and Head of Inclusion, to the development and implementation of a package of learning and therapeutic opportunities and support that is psychologically informed and successfully prepares children for their individual pathways beyond Oasis Restore.


Mathematics Teacher

You will have the opportunity to teach a second subject area, developing your own practice with the necessary support to deliver consistently outstanding teaching. You will launch and continuously contribute to a creative curriculum underpinned by progressive pedagogies, in line with the national curriculum, and a variety of formal qualifications, setting a true gold standard for learning.


 English Teacher

Musician In Residence / Music Teacher

You will develop children’s skills in at least one of these areas: instrumental/vocal skills, production, composition, or knowledge of a range of musical styles and traditions. You will launch and continuously contribute to a carefully planned, creative and flexible music curriculum and enrichment offer underpinned by progressive pedagogies, in line with and a variety of formal qualifications, setting a true gold standard for learning and progress in music.


People Services and Development (PSD) Officer

As part of the People Services and Development (PSD) team, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the PSD Team and senior leaders in creating a therapeutic environment for staff and children alike. For the next year or so the post holder will significantly focus on supporting with mass recruitment and associated marketing and vetting checks, helping to set up payroll and with the induction and onboarding of new staff as we prepare to open the Secure School to children in early 2024. Once the secure school is opened, the postholder will fully support the PSD Team with all transactional activities required to manage the whole employee life cycle with special emphasis in recruitment and selection, onboarding and vetting checks, induction and training and inputting data for payroll and pensions for our outsourced provider. There will be developing opportunities for the post holder with ER case work, delivering training and other change projects in time as part of a meaningful CPD program in HR. All of this will be in alignment with Oasis Restore ethos and values, best practise and employment and safeguarding law.


Business Support Officer

  • Location: Until the secure school is refurbished, the post holder will benefit from hybrid working between home and the temporary office space in Dartford, Kent, with some visits to the secure school location – Thereafter, the role will be located at the Oasis Restore secure school in Rochester, Medway, Kent.
  • Working Pattern: Full time (shifts between 8am & 8pm) and working occasional weekends

Oasis Restore is seeking Business Support Officers to join our team in supporting the creation of the first secure school in the UK. As part of the Business Support Team, the post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Assistant and Office Manager with the smooth running of the school.  

Initially, the postholder will significantly focus on supporting with administrative tasks such as liaising with examination boards, supporting with recruitment and HR functions, stakeholder/ engagement events, social media updates and event planning for a variety of projects, as we prepare to open the school to children in Spring 2024.  


Examinations and Business Support Officer

Oasis Restore is seeking an Examinations and Business Support Officer to support the Office Manager and Data Analyst with the smooth running of the school and inputting data using the management information system (MIS) software. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that Restore maintains Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations. such as liaising with examination boards and preparing the school for both internal and external examinations, stakeholder communication and engagement, social media updates and event planning for a variety of projects, as we prepare to open the school to children in early 2024.

Once the secure school is open, the postholder will provide efficient and professional reception duties, general office administration, recording of student data, ensuring the efficient and effective running of examinations, liaising with external stakeholders including examination boards, and social media updates.


Finance Assistant

  • Salary:  (SCP 14) £25,409 to (SCP 18) £27,344 + Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Location: Oasis Restore Secure School in Rochester, Medway, Kent.
  • Working Pattern: Full time. 39 hours per week.
