Learning Support Assistant (LSA) 

  • Starting Date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: SCP 5 to 7 (£21,575 – £22,369) 
  • Location: Oasis Restore Secure School in Rochester, Medway, Kent.
  • Responsibility Payment: RRA 1 (can be fixed term or permanent) £1,000 to £2,500 per year and based on experience, qualification and skill (pro-rated for part time staff)

Your role as a LSA will be integral to supporting the progress of all children at Oasis Restore, to help them to achieve their individual educational outcomes. We are looking to LSAs who are willing to work towards the HLTA qualification. You will be responsible for supporting with the delivery of a bespoke, skills-based curriculum; and working with individual children and small groups within the classroom to facilitate a personalised and aspirational education for all. You will work as part of an education team within departments and contribute to the regular assessment of the children you are working with as well as forming part of a core team around the child and feeding into formulation meetings to report on progress and next steps.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Salary: SCP 18 to 22 (£27,344 - £29,439)
  • Location: Oasis Restore Secure School in Rochester, Medway, Kent.
  • Responsibility Payment: RRA 1 (can be fixed term or permanent) £1,000 to £2,500 per year and based on experience, qualification and skill (pro-rated for part time staff)

Job Purpose - To support with the delivery of outstanding teaching to students that is bespoke to their individual needs and promotes a love of discovery and learning. To carry out the professional duties of a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant, HLTA, in accordance with the nationally recognised HLTA standards as well as the duties and expectations outlined in this JD and Oasis Restore draft policies, including our Code of Conduct. To contribute, under the direction of the Head of Departments and Head of Inclusion, to the development and implementation of a package of learning and therapeutic opportunities and support that is psychologically informed and successfully prepares children for their individual pathways beyond Oasis Restore.

 Restore Practitioner 

  • Start Date: 11th August 2025 
  • Closing Date: Wednesday 14th May 2025
  • Salary: £37,442 to £41,085  – inclusive of an unsocial hour’s allowance payment worth up to £6,531 per annum, plus Local Government Pension Scheme.

Restore Practitioners are our key frontline residential staff at Oasis Restore, the first Secure Academy Trust in England to educate children in custody. The school is all year-round, offering 24/7 integrated and therapeutically informed education, health and social care.

Oasis Restore represents a revolution in youth justice: an opportunity for children within the criminal justice system to experience a restorative environment that creates the potential for them to thrive both now and for the future. Restore Practitioners will build and model healthy and trusting relationships with children that enable them to feel safe, learn and reach their full potential.


 Registered Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience as a Registered Manager to join the leadership team of Oasis Restore, the first secure school in England. The Registered Manager will be key to working within a recently established governance and leadership structure where accountability for outcomes is not solely owned by the Registered Manager. We are in the ramping up stages of establishing a nurturing, therapeutic and educational community that embeds hope, stability, and opportunity for children in our care. 


     Deputy House Manager

Your role as a Deputy House Manager offers a unique opportunity to be part of the new team at Oasis Restore, joining us as we continue to recruit a large team of residential staff and taking up a crucial role in their care and development. It will be your role to inspire and develop staff practice, manage their activities, utilise our management information systems and provide safety, care and well-being for children while developing a sense of safety and boundaries in their work
